To setup 2FA for your cPanel account with our Authenticator App, you need to follow the next steps:

Download FirstOrder Authenticator App

Download and install the Authenticator App from your device's App Store.

Log in to your cPanel account.

Navigate to the "Preferences" section and click "Set Up Two-Factor Authentication".

Link your cPanel account and your Authenticator App with one of the following methods:

  • To automatically create the link, scan the displayed QR code with your app.

  • To manually create the link, enter the provided Account and Key information in your app.

Open our Authenticator App, click the + button at the bottom right of the screen, then hold your device near the computer screen to scan the QR code.

After successfully scanning, a 6-digit code will be shown at the bottom of the screen. Please note that this code refreshes every 30 seconds.

Return to the cPanel webpage, and before the code expires, enter it in the Security Code text box.

Click "Configure Two-Factor Authentication".

Remember to click "Save" in the Authenticator App to save your account, or you may lose access to your account!
